About Royal Catering Events

Royal Catering is a second generation business and was founded in 1985. Our current leadership has been in place since 2001 and has grown Royal Catering into one of the largest dedicated catering companies in the DFW metroplex.

Royal came about as the result of the need for “real catering” that was lacking in the marketplace. Restaurants and others were really just dropping off disposable containers of food items and referring to it as “catering”.

Our mission was to become the catering company that provided a real catering experience with nice buffet equipment, highly skilled service professionals and a diverse menu at a reasonable price point (as compared to hotels and specialty event caterers).

We have a very skilled and dedicated team at Royal. In an industry that is known for very high turnover, ours is very low with most of our team being with us for 5, 10 even 20 years. Prior to coming to work with us, most had extensive experience at different hotels and restaurants. Our Kitchen Managers, Deli Manager and Bake Shoppe Manager have all been promoted from within to their current positions.

As we serve many of the largest companies and organizations around DFW on a regular basis, we are able to keep our team working full time. This ensures that we can maintain very high standards for food quality and service. Many caterers, hotels and venues rely heavily on contract and part-time employees that just don’t tend to have the skills, experience and dedication that our team brings to their jobs every day. Additionally, our service professionals are Certified Food Handlers, Bartenders & Action Station Trained.

RC Events is the branch of Royal Catering that deals with special events, exclusively. We know that your special events need to go well and we will go above and beyond to work with you and exceed your expectations.
